PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy matters to us
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Sublux Designs operates this website and Sublux Idea Scorer, a tool that helps founders explore small-business ideas using search-demand estimates, other research, and an AI-assisted report. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information through our website and Idea Scorer. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to jordan@subluxdesigns.com.
1. Information We Collect
For website inquiries, we collect the name, email address, and details you submit through our contact forms. For Sublux Idea Scorer, we collect your first name, email address, idea details, ZIP code, budget, available hours, and whether you opt in to an optional Sublux follow-up. Our website also collects technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited to operate and improve the site. We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some website features may be affected.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use website inquiry details to respond to you and provide requested services. Idea Scorer uses your submitted information to research your business idea, tailor the report to your location and circumstances, generate it, and email it to you. We use your information for an optional Sublux Designs follow-up only if you opt in; you can withdraw permission by emailing us. We also use relevant technical information to operate, maintain, and protect the website. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google Ads Data and Account Access
Sublux Idea Scorer connects only to Sublux Designs’ own Google Ads account to read keyword search-volume ranges through Google Ads Keyword Planner. These national and local search-demand estimates help assess demand for business ideas and inform reports. Visitors never sign in with Google or connect a Google account, and the app does not collect data from visitors’ Google accounts. The integration uses the OAuth permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. Although that permission supports broader Google Ads access, the app’s actual use is read-only: it does not run ads, create or change campaigns, or access anyone else’s Google account.
4. Research Sources and Service Providers
Idea Scorer reports also draw on information from Google Places, the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and Reddit. We send the idea text you submit to xAI (Grok) to write your report; xAI processes that text, including any personal information you include in it. We do not send Google keyword data to xAI, sell it, or share it with external data buyers. We use search-demand estimates in reports delivered through the service. Neon hosts our database. Other trusted service providers may help us operate the website and deliver requested services. Any handling of Google data remains limited to the uses described here and the Google API Services User Data Policy. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect rights and safety, subject to applicable Google API requirements.
5. Storage and Data Protection
Idea Scorer’s submitted form information and application records are stored in Sublux’s Neon Postgres database in the United States. Google authorization credentials are stored privately on the server and are never displayed to visitors. These server-side credentials authorize Sublux’s account, not visitors’ accounts. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information and keep stored records from being exposed as public website content. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain Idea Scorer form submissions and associated reports for up to 12 months after submission, unless deletion is requested sooner. Cached Google keyword search-volume results are kept for approximately 30 days, then refreshed or deleted; this cache period is separate from the retention period for reports already generated. The Google authorization credential for Sublux’s connected account is kept until access is revoked. The account owner can revoke access through the Google account’s third-party connections settings. Visitors have no Google connection to revoke. To request deletion of your submission or report, email jordan@subluxdesigns.com with the email address used for the submission. These periods describe records we maintain; external service-provider processing is also subject to applicable service terms and settings.
7. Your Choices and Children’s Privacy
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your submitted information and associated reports by contacting jordan@subluxdesigns.com. We may need to verify that a request concerns your records. You can withdraw consent to optional Sublux follow-up at the same address without preventing delivery of your requested report. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply. Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information so we can remove it.
8. Google API Services and Limited Use
9. Policy Updates and Contact
We will update this page and its last-updated date when our practices change. Changes to Google data use will be reflected in the relevant disclosures, and any required authorization will be obtained before data is used for a new purpose. For privacy questions, requests, or withdrawal of optional follow-up permission, contact Sublux Designs at jordan@subluxdesigns.com.
